SlideShare is an online site that allows you to upload presentations and documents to share with the world.

Typically, what I find is when I upload a document or presentation to SlideShare, it will get viewed 100 to 300 times within the first 24 hours.

How To Find Sales Leads With Google Hotpot

Do you sell into restaurants or hotels?

Have you ever heard of Google Hotpot? Here is what Google has to say about Hot Pot:

“Use Google Hotpot to connect with your friends and find out the right place to go near you. Rate and review places to personalize your recommendations.”

Google Hotpot is a great way to get a listing of Restaurants, hotels and other places that people go to and as such is a great way to find a list of these locations that you can sell to.

One thing of note, Google Hotpot is suppose to be folded into Google Places, but as of this writing it is still available. If you want to find Hotpot, go to www.google.com/hotpot.

Here is a segment from a recent webcast that I did on creating and using video in your marketing.

This overview is on how to find and add keywords for your video posts online.

Since Google and other video hosting sites can not search images to see what the video is about, they rely on proper keywords to describe the content of the video. This is why it is important to find the and add keywords that match your content.

Here is a great way to use a free tool from Google to make sure that you find and add keywords that are relevant to your subject. This tool also shows how often these terms are search on Google globally and also locally (locally being the country of choice).

This technique is also great for finding keywords for websites, blog posts and a favorite of mine is finding keywords to use in my overview and experience in LinkedIn.

Online video is huge. Ever heard of Blip TV? If you are going to use video as part of your marketing, then you should find out more on Blip TV.

As of 2011, online video consumption was 69% of the web and it is expected to be 90% by 2013 according to Cisco. In addition to this, people typically remember 80% of what they see and hear with a compelling story, compared with 10% of what they read and 20% of what they hear.

Blip.tv is a great way to distribute your content to multiple sites, thus helping you save time.
