Guy Kawasaki on Blogging: An Interview with Guy Kawasaki
Recently Kersten Kloss and I had the pleasure of interviewing Guy Kawasaki on his book “What the Plus – Google + For the Rest Of Us”.
Guy talked about numerous things including Guy Kawasaki on Blogging.
Here is a transcription from the Guy Kawasaki on Blogging Video:
KERSTEN KLOSS: You mention in the book, What the Plus! that you love to write, but that blogging takes a lot of time. You also talk about the value of being a skilled curator.
GUY KAWASAKI: I don’t blog at all, anymore. I blogged successfully for three years, because I had a lot to say and I could recycle a lot of it. After three years, I no longer had original ideas.
I’m now a curator rather than a creator of content. I curate for Alltop.com, a site I cofounded which aggregates news by topic. Every night, I look for interesting content to post the next day. The contribution I make, as a curator, is to filter content that’s interesting.
