Why Google Plus: An Interview with Guy Kawasaki
Recently Kersten Kloss and I had the pleasure of interviewing Guy Kawasaki on his book “What the Plus – Google + For the Rest Of Us”.
Guy talked about numerous things including Why Google Plus.
Here is a transcription from the Why Google Plus Video:

Why would someone get onto Google Plus what is what’s your
take on that one?
GK
My take on why someone want to get on Google Plus is because the aesthetics of Google Plus, I like the white space, the inline photos. I like the quality of comments uh…
people seem to come in faster and more intelligently, except during political and election periods.
I happen to like the diversity of people that you know, if you want to talk about a hockey
you can find somebody to talk about hockey or even thought about you know
curling or whatever there there’s a group where there’s a circle for everything and everybody on Google Plus.
Compared to twitter where you only have a hundred and forty characters and in Facebook it’s like you know this, Facebook for your high school buddies are your college buddies or your grandma, I mean you know, who’s it for anymore?
I guess i don’t like this thing about Facebook called edge-ray where even though someone liked you, or fan’ed you and followed you or subscribed to you you know really know how many people who want to see your posts and i find that very disturbing
