Write a Blog to Differentiate You As A Market Leader
Write a blog to show that you are a trusted source of information. This is a great way to drive qualified leads your way, differentiate yourself from your competition and a way to help out current clients or future clients with useful information.
You can write on:
- Issues facing your industry
- Ways to solve issues facing your industry
- New products for your industry
- Your industry in general
- News related to your industry
- “How To” articles
There are a lot more topics to write a blog about other than those listed above, be creative.
Another tip is that you should publish posts on a regular basis, be it daily, weekly, monthly or whatever frequency you choose. Just be consistent and post on a regular basis.
There are several blog publishing sites, such as Blogger and WordPress. Check them out to see which one you might like best. Here is an article on 31 sites you can use.
Suggestion: Use a personalized web address like www.yourname.com, personal branding online will be a key differentiator in the future.
Blogger (located at www.blogger.com) has an option to purchase a domain name and apply it to your blog. I would recommend this.
Final Thoughts on Write a Blog to Differentiate You As A Market Leader:
Don’t be discouraged if you don’t achieve instant success with a lot of traffic, remember Rome wasn’t built in a day. It takes time, but the great thing is that once the post is out there and if it is of value, it will garner views.
